One highlight of my blogging absence has been going to see Quantum of Solace. On the whole i thought it was a very good film, although i did feel like it could've done with a bit more depth. I shan't spoil it for anyone who hasn't yet seen it, but to me it felt like 'Casino Royale - Part Deux'
In the world of science there has been a bit of a breakthrough regarding motor neurone disease. An italian (i know it's losing validity already, but bear with me) study has shown that lithium tablets have an influence on the same metabolic pathways that the current treatments do, only much stronger. Although it is in no way a cure it could improve the quality of many lives, which is always nice....however, one thing that would concern me about taking an Italian medication would be if it could decide who it's fighting for or not.
As I'm sure you're all aware by now the British economy is about to enter recession, i shan't harp on about this, but i think that Labour may be onto something with how they plan to manage it. Normally I'm not their biggest fan but if it goes to plan i think it could make the whole situation a lot more bareable on the British public, i have my own plan to survive the credit crunch. All i need to do is become some form of wealthy business man and invite Lord Mandelson over for dinner.

P.S. 'Arriva Trains Bolivia service to Llandaf is currently running 15 hours behind schedule'
