Back on the blog train

Well here i am again dear reader, sat in my living room....cannot sleep, cannot concentrate on anything meaningful. This year's chemistry isn't going too badly i must admit. Wilf is being a great help with electrochem (as Adam will verify) and other modules are ticking along nicely. I wish there was something interesting that i could blog about, and i was hoping that another breakthrough from CERN would serve, but no....my latest discovery has been from the world of adhesives.....

okay, i know there may be some confusion here, but bear with me. When sellotape is pulled apart from the reel at a certain speed the breakages release x-rays....real, bonefide ones at that. They can x-ray your finger with sellotape...which is quite a breakthrough considering the dentist normally has to leave the room when they examine a filling

not very fast actually, the experiment used a speed of 3cm per second. Which isn't all that speedy to be honest.
